Celebration of International Day of Yoga 2026

On 21st June 2026, Sanaka Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and dedication. The event was organized with the objective of spreading awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical health, mental well-being, and inner peace. The celebration began with a collective yoga session where participants actively performed various yoga postures and breathing exercises under proper guidance. The program highlighted the significance of incorporating yoga into daily life for achieving a healthy body and a balanced mind. The event reflected the institutions’ commitment toward promoting wellness, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. The celebration concluded successfully, inspiring everyone present to embrace yoga as an essential part of everyday life.

Fresher's Welcome:

SETGOI proudly celebrated Freshers’ Party 2026, warmly welcoming the newest members of the Sanaka family. Filled with vibrant performances, fun interactions, laughter, and unforgettable moments, the celebration reflected the spirit of togetherness and campus life at SETGOI.

FESTIN "O" BEATS:

Sanaka Educational Trust celebrates a beloved yearly tradition every year with their much-anticipated Fest, Festin O Beats. Students look forward to this major occasion, which is the high point of their academic year, with great anticipation. Displaying an amazing fusion of skill and fun, the organization puts on a memorable event that includes celebrity vocalists and student acts that are both engaging and entertaining. Festin O Beats is the ultimate event that brings the entire institution together in joy and promotes a sense of camaraderie.

Glimpses of a Vibrant Week: A Journey Through Sessions, Felicitations and Hands-On Learning:

The Inaugural Session was graced by the presence of esteemed delegates and marked with a ceremonial lamp lighting, setting a vibrant tone for the program. Prof. Amiya Samanta was felicitated on Day 1 before delivering his insightful lecture, followed by Mr. Anirban Datta engaging participants with his session and group interactions. Day 2 featured the felicitation of Prof. Apurba Layek and Mr. Lohitendu Badu from Durgapur Steel Plant, who also delivered a valuable lecture. On Day 3, Prof. Parimal Acharyee from NIT Durgapur interacted with participants, and Mr. Subhro Tushar Deb delivered an engaging session. Day 4 witnessed Dr. Sukumar Pati’s lecture, followed by Mr. Siddhartha Ghoshal’s session, who later received a vote of thanks from Dr. Pati. The program continued with Mr. Arnab Dutta’s lecture on Day 5 and the presence of Prof. Sandip Sarkar from Jadavpur University with participants on Day 6. Participants also gained practical exposure through hands-on sessions conducted on Days 1, 2, 4 (at Sanaka Lithium), and 5, along with an industrial visit to Alloy Steel Plant on Day 5, making the program a comprehensive blend of academic learning and industrial insights.

International Women's Day Celebration Week (10th - 14th March 2025)

The week will kick off with a celebration that may include performances, speeches, and a felicitation ceremony honoring women in various fields. This could be an opportunity to recognize the contributions of women in the community, workplace, and beyond.

Medical Camp & Health Awareness Programme

A medical camp will be organized, potentially offering free health check-ups, consultations, and basic healthcare services for the people at Abhaya & Ananda Ashram. A health awareness programme will follow, providing important information on topics like preventive healthcare, nutrition, mental health, .... and women's health issues.
Social Service Work
Volunteers may be engaged in various social service activities, such as cleaning, organizing community services, or providing support to the residents of the ashram. This series of events not only celebrates women but also contributes to community welfare through health services and social work. It reflects a holistic approach to service, health, and recognition.

Our Workshops:

ANTI-RAGGING WEEK CELEBRATION 2024:

SETGOI proudly hosted an impactful Anti-Ragging Week from August 12th to 18th, featuring a slogan competition, poster exhibition and a thought-provoking documentary at the SETGOI seminar hall. Spearheaded by Dr. Ranadip Roy and organized by Dr. Anindita Sikdar, this initiative stood as a powerful reminder of our commitment to a safe and respectful campus environment.
