EDC Council

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was developed to assist students, entrepreneurs, including Institute's educational professionals, with pre-venture, start-up, or existing businesses with financial management, marketing, technology, and product development and commercialization challenges. Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) for an engineering college is a crucial step in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration. An EDC serves as a platform to nurture and support entrepreneurial talents among students and faculty members.


Objectives & Goal:

It aims to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development within the academic community and the broader region.


Dedicated Team:

It consists a team of motivated individuals, including faculty members, administrators, and enthusiastic students, to run the EDC. This team will be responsible for planning and executing EDC activities.


Allocated Resources:

This may include budget allocation for events, workshops, and hiring staff or mentors with expertise in entrepreneurship.


Physical Space:

Forging partnerships with local entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and incubators/accelerators. Collaborative efforts can provide students with real-world exposure and opportunities for internships or mentorship.
