Introduction to the Undergraduate Programme
The areas of computer science that are related to one another are artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). It's a field with multiple disciplines. These two technologies are the most in-demand ones when it comes to developing intelligent systems. Despite the fact that these are two similar technologies and that they are occasionally used interchangeably, they are two distinct names with different applications. While machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning is a broader idea that aims to produce intelligent computers that can mimic human thought processes and behaviour without explicit programming.
Our department's primary objective is to give students solid foundations in the fields of AI and ML. By offering value-added courses, skill-development programs, and opportunities to engage in technical events and hackathons, they support students in becoming dynamic and inspire them to advance their technical skills.
Modern laboratories are available at the department for students to succeed in their careers, take on any research problem, and come up with creative solutions.
